Year 6 SATs Breakfast for Parents/Carers
Dear Parents and Carers of Year 6,
In May, year 6 will complete their end of key stage two assessments, also known as SATs. These are important end of year assessments and we want our parents to feel as confident as possible in supporting their children. We will be holding a Y6 SATs Breakfast for parents, carers and children on Monday 18th November from 9am—10am. The event will take place in the three year 6 classrooms (Amazon, Nile and Congo). Please bring your child to school as normal and make your way to your child’s class with them.
The aim of this event is to ensure you feel as informed as possible about your child’s upcoming SATs. There will also be FREE breakfast for all and a FREE set of CGP revision guides for all children. There will be a brief information session, sharing key messages followed by a session to talk to your child’s teacher and other parents. Please note there is no obligation for you to stay for the full hour (9am—10am) however, we do ask that you arrive promptly by 9:15am so we can start the information session.
Please let us know if you are able to attend by completing and returning the slip below no later than Monday 11th November. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible; let us know if you have any questions about the event.
Thanks for your continued support,
Year 6 Team
Hannah Bones, Claire Dinata and Flora Harris
